Why We’re Building in the UK – Even If the Border Got Louder
I’ve been to the UK before. A few times, not enough.
Not long enough to pretend I understand the full rhythm of the place – but long enough to feel that it moves to its own beat.
Britain has a way of doing things.
Quiet confidence. Dry humour. Fierce independence.
No fuss. No filters. But when something gets built – it lasts.
And that’s exactly why we’re here.
I grew up in Switzerland, where things tend to start in garages and end on stage – often under-engineered in the best possible way.
There’s precision, yes. But also a healthy dose of creative chaos. The kind that says: “Let’s try it. Worst case, we rebuild it better.”
The UK?
It has the same kind of soul – just tuned to a different frequency.
Where we might sketch, you might weld.
Where we measure, you just get on with it.
And I love that.
We didn’t set up CCG Works United Kingdom to wave flags or claim markets.
We set it up because we believe that great builds come from bold environments – and this island has that in spades.
It’s not about the EU. Not about the headlines.
It’s about creative freedom – and the kind of practical madness that makes things real.
So here we are.
CCG Works UK is now part of the system.
Built with Swiss roots, hosted in London, open to anyone with the courage to pitch something that actually exists.
No templates. No gimmicks. Just ideas worth building.
If you’ve got something brewing – get in touch.
We won’t overcomplicate it. We’ll just see if it makes sense to build.
And who knows – maybe I’ll come over and see it for myself.
(Just give me a proper cup of tea and a seat in the back row.)
